The foreign oppressors disdain

Our Arab nation’s capabilities and stand to the point of mocking at these capabilities. They are even using part of them against the best of the Arab nation, after having tamed those whom they have made accept the weakness and humility of themselves.

What is going on against our oppressed people in Palestine provokes every free and faithful spirit. The killing, destruction, and humiliation this is ongoing in Palestine, are basically carried out against the Arab and Islamic nation, and not against the heroic and glorious Palestinians, who are facing the Zionist enemy and its aggressive forces with stones and simple weapons using their chest which are full of faith for amunition. While they do so, they are fully optimistic that the future is for the Palestinians and the Arab nation, not for the usurping Zionist entity nor for the American Administrations which are the enemy of the peoples and nations.

Dear Brothers

The Zionist aggression, which is killing publicly in front of TV cameras our brothers and sisters, and our people in Palestine, is perpetrated by a common arrangement between the Zionist entity and the American Administration. The objective is not only to occupy Palestinian and Arab territories as happened in 1948 and 1967, but also to break the Palestinian and Arab will, and force them to surrender in humility to the Zionist American alliance..

Whereas destiny draws for its people what they deserve of honour and virtue and makes them a reference point before God, their nation, and history, proportionally with what their capability, faith and action draw for them when they face difficulties to pass the difficult test of overcoming the obstacles on the road in a way that pleases God and the nation..

Whereas Americans and those who back them have become deaf to the savage massacres perpetrated by the Zionist entity against our people in Palestine, with their complicity..

Whereas when any of the elements of wealth is not used to hold faith and honour high, and to defend their values, it becomes aburden and weakness..

Whereas the enemies of the nation and humanity do not understand but a practical language, and the reactions that undermine their interests and affect them in a way that exasperates their evil indinations and hostility to the Arab nation including the Palestinian people..

Whereas the Arab and Islamic peoples, and even all the honest people in the world, have expressed their opinion and made clear where they stand by all these demonstrations and other means of protesting against the enemy. They have shown their solidarity with the Palestinian people, Arab officials who have spoken have said what they are capable of saying or willing to say .

But the enemy was not deterred and did not put an end to its cowardly attacks, along with its American ally, against the unarmed and mujahid people of Palestine who do not have but the force of their faith and their noble leadership.

Whereas we are one nation with a common destiny, and a common security… and whereas the killing of any believer, or the bloodshed in Ramala, Bethlehem, Gaza Jenin, or Al-Quds, is like shedding blood, God forbid, in any other Arab city, or in Baghdad, Mossul, south, Karbela, Salah-al-din, Arbil, or any other Iraqi City of village.

The Revolution Command Council, the Iraqi leadership of the Ba’th Arab Socialist Party, and the Cabinet in their meeting on 8 April 2002 declare, in the name of the faithful, honest, mujahid, noble, Iraqi people: completely stopping oil exporting starting from this afternoon April 8, through the pipelines going to the Turkish port on the Mediterranean, and our ports in Bassra for a period of the thirty days after which we will further decide, or until the Zionist entity’s armed forces have unconditionally withdrawn from the Palestinian territories they have occupied and have shown respect for the will of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation to sovereignty, security, dignity and life..

This decision is basically taken against the Zionist entity, and the American aggressive policy, and not against anyone else. It is not meant to harm anyone but those who have decided to harm the Arab nation, including the Palestinian people, which harms every noble believer in humanity. By this decision we mean to ring the alarm bell and voice of the faithful nation by word and action that remind those who have for gotten that God is great..
