Iraq, Yemen conclude meetings

Iraqi-Yemeni Committee
meetings concluded Wednesday its 13th session.
During the meeting
agreements covering economic, financial, cultural,
scientific and educational fields were signed.
The two sides
expressed willingness to activate the Trade Exchange
Agreement signed when Vice-President Taha Yassin Ramadhan
had made a visit to Yemen last August.
They agreed to meet
again in Baghdad next year to follow up meetings of the
Joint Committee in the coming session.
In a statement to INA
correspondent in Sana'a, Head of Planning Committee Dr.
Abdul Mun'im Hasan Khattab said that the Free Trade Zone
agreement was discussed and it is ready to be signed by
Mr. Taha Yassin Ramadhan and Abdul Qadir Bajammal in
Baghdad.
For his part, Yemeni
Industry and Trade Minister Abdul-Rahman Othman hailed
the fruitful results of the meetings in Sana'a. He
affirmed the significance to start air flights between
Baghdad and Sana'a.
