Iraq, Russia to cooperate in sport fields

Iraqi Olympic Committee has signed an agreement with Russian Olympic Committee for strengthening cooperation.

Deputy chairman of the Iraqi Olympic Committee Hussein Sa'eed told INA that this agreement, which will be valid for four years starting from year 2001, aimed at strengthening ties between the tow friendly countries. The agreement provided for strengthening sport cooperation, organizing training courses and exchanging visits and expertise between Iraqi and Russian athletes.
