Egypt expresses willingness to cooperate with Iraq

Director of Electricity Commission Sahban Faisal Mahjoub met Wednesday Head of Egyptian investment firms Mohammed Shita.

Ways of strengthening relations between Iraq and Egypt were discussed during the meeting.

Mr. Mahjoub affirmed Iraq's willingness to expand cooperation and find new ways for mutual work that could achieve both countries’ aspirations.

For his part, Mr. Shita expressed Egyptian companies’ desire to implement projects inside Iraq and supply the Iraqi Electricity Commission with all it needs.

Present at the meeting were Egyptian charge d’ affaires in Baghdad and a number of director-generals.
