President receives Heads of diplomatic missions

President Saddam Hussein received Thursday ambassadors and heads of Iraqi diplomatic missions in Iraq.

Foreign Minister Naji Sabri, on behalf of the attendance, congratulated President Saddam Hussein on the New Year's day. He presented an assessment of the Iraqi diplomatic missions' meeting held recently in Baghdad, activities made by Iraqi Foreign Ministry in the previous period and ways of applying its plan for the next period in a way that could strengthen Iraq's national and human role and position among the peoples and countries of the world.

Heads of the diplomatic missions presented proposals and opinions to develop activities of their embassies and missions to serve Iraq and help support the Palestinian people.
