Iraqi Human Rights Association

A non-governmental organization established in 1960. Its aims are to propagate and protect human rights.

The president of the association is Dr. Ryadh Aziz Hadi. Its headquarters is situated at Hayfa street and its address is Haifa post office, P.O.box 7372, Baghdad, Iraq.

The association has been nominated to the French Human Rights Award for 1999 which is to granted annually by the French Prime Minister to a number of Human Right, Associations in the world through the consultative national human rights commission in France (N.G.O.).

The Association issues a newspaper with the title (Human Rights). Its chief editor is Dr. Ryath Aziz Hadi.
