Dear compatriots!
Emigrant brothers and sisters!
There is no need to waste too many words on describing the present situation in our occupied homeland. The most conscientious part of our people in it took up arms and is now fighting against the occupier, while the occupier - in order to hide its losses - is terrorizing women and hurting children.
The Coordinating Council of the NMLK for the Diaspora is of the opinion that:
- The oppressed Albanian people will come out as the victor in the ongoing events, despite the lost lives of the participants who fell victim to the occupier's terror, because the liberation forces are closing their ranks and everyone is joining them and mostly the people.
- Today, the homeland is calling us, the emigrants, with its resonant and proud voice. Although financial aid by us, the emigrants, is important, it is still more important that we go back to our homeland and join the liberation forces.
- Demonstrations and mass rallies on the world squares are not the only and best method by which we, the emigrants, can express our solidarity with the liberation forces. However, we should not make use of these activities to continue in the same way, because their impact on the international community is very small. Instead, we should take specific actions, and support them by our return to the homeland.
Emigrant brothers and sisters! In order not to feel repentant before our close relatives, do not fill the world squares, while our parents, brothers and sisters are waging a life-and-death struggle against the occupier, we are calling on you to return to the homeland and show solidarity with the liberation forces.
