  Kosova Delegation Departs for Paris Today Afternoon


PRISHTINA, March 13 (KIC) - The Kosova delegation, inlcuding President Ibrahim Rugova, who will participate in the second stage of the international conference on an interim settlement for Kosova negotiated in Rambouillet last month, left the Prishtina airport for Paris at 16:00 CET today (Saturday).

There was a considerable delay because UÇK representatives to the delegation, who were driven to the airport by the OSCE KVM, were late.

The conference on Kosova will resume in Paris on Monday, 15 March.

  Powerful Bomb Explodes in Mitrovica, at Least Four Killed, Thirty Injured


PRISHTINA, March 13 (KIC) - A powerful device exploded today at 14:20 CET in the town of Mitrovica, 40 km northwest of capital Prishtina, killing at least four people and injuring as many as 30 others.

Local LDK sources, quoting eye-witnesses, said five to six people might have died in the explosion.

The wounded have been taken to the Mitrovica hospital, which has been sealed off by Serb police forces.

  At Least 2 Confirmed Dead, as Many as 28 Injured in Two Explosions in Podujeva


PRISHTINA, March 13 (KIC) - At least two Albanians have been reported killed in two separate explosions in Podujeva past 13:00 CET today (Saturday).

Besnik Shabani (20), resident of Podujeva, died of wounds in the town clinic, whereas a resident of Majanc village died in the Prishtina hospital of wounds he suffered in Podujeva.

Initial, unconfirmed sources spoke earlier of at least five killed, at a time the number of wounded people was put at 28.

Among the seriously and lightly wounded in Podujeva are also Remzi Muçolli, Jakup Visoka, Murat Hodolli, Adile Sheholli, Genc T. Hasani, Shukrije Berisha, Jusuf Jusufi, and Muharrem Zejnullahu.

Some of the wounded have been taken directly to the Prishtina hospital, while most of them remained in the Podujeva clinic for lack of ambulances.

Meanwhile, Serbian forces shelled the Podujeva villages, on the western side of the Llapi river, including Bradash, an UÇK stronghold, for at least one and a half hours beginning at 15:00 CET today (Saturday), local sources said.
