Civilians - victims of terrorism in 1998

Riza Taci (1931) was seriously wounded on 5th March at about 16.00 at Brocna village, Srbica Municipality. Six camouflaged persons armed with automatic rifles entered into his yard and ordered him to enter into the house. As he refused to obey, terrorists fired a number of shots and stroke him into the right leg.

Ajeta Hoti (1933) and Selja Hajdini (1948) were slightly wounded on 11th March at about 05.00 in the village of Brocna, Srbica Municipality. They caught a rope by leg and activated planted hand grenade.

Uk Nikaj (1926) was seriously injured in the terrorist attack on 13th March at 01.00 at the village of Ljug Bunar, Djakovica Municipality. From the distance of 30 meters, terrorists opened fire from automatic weapons at Nikaj's house.

Blagoje Jovanovic (1944) was slightly wounded on 17th March at about 23.15 at Kostrc village, Srbica Municipality. With butts and bombs terrorists broke down the door of his house, searched his home and took a hunting rifle from him. One of the terrorists several times hit him with the rifle butt.

Jakup Hoti (1945) was seriously wounded on 20th March at about 16.00 at the entrance to the village of Bradas, Podujevo Municipality. Hoti, who used to be a member of the Police force of the Republic of Serbia, was driving his car when terrorists opened fire from automatic firearms.

Muja Marmulakaj, from Dusevic village, Klina Municipality, was slightly injured on 23rd March at about 19.30. Five camouflaged persons armed with automatic rifles and extended knives, rushed into Muja's house, forced him to give them his hunting rifle and then beat him.

Adem Gugna, president of the DB of SPS Gora, was seriously wounded on 10th April at 01.40 at "Saf Dulje" place, on Stimlje-Suva Reka road. From ambush and with automatic fire arms, several persons in camouflage uniforms with characteristics and ambles of the army of the Republic of Albania, attacked the vehicle of Prizren registration in which were Ibro Vait, representative of the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and president of the District Board of SPS Prizren, Avni Veselji, secretary of the DB SPS Gora and Rada Krstic, secretary of DB SPS Suva Reka.

Tahir Arjizaj, from the village of Budisavci, Klina Municipality, was slightly wounded on 11th April at about 23.30. Eight-member terrorist gang armed with automatic rifles broke into his house. They cursed and beat him and then took a pistol from him.

Redzo Djakoli, from the village of Stupelj, Klina Municipality, was slightly wounded on 12th April at about 01.00. Six persons armed with automatic rifles rushed into Rezda's house, took his hunting rifle and then beat him with rifle butts at his shoulders.

Ramadan Uka, from the village of Budisavci, Klina Municipality, was slightly wounded on 14th April 1998 at about 23.45, when six persons, armed with automatic rifles, entered by force into his house. Ramadan and his wife Zoja were taken out from their home. Terrorists tied their hands and drove them to a field that is 500 meters far from the house. When they took off their caps, Ramazan recognized his neighbors - brothers Djona and Anton Kitaja as well as Veseljaj Buca from the same village. Anton raped Zoja and after that terrorists beat Ramadan explaining that they do all that because his father Nazej voted on the elections in December.

Ramadan Baljaj, forester in JP "Srbija Sume" was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 16th April at about 21.00 at Iglarevo village, Klina Municipality. With automatic weapons, hand bazookas, tromblone mines and hand grenades, terrorists made an attack on the forester's house.

Rusteman Gani (1965), from the village of Skivljanje, Djakovica Municipality, was slightly hurt on 17th April at about 10.00, on the dirt road Babaloc-Dubrava-Gramocelj. Three terrorists forced him to stop his car, asked him for his identity card, beat him and asked about his brother who is employed with SUP Djakovica. They drove him to Glodjane village, where tortured him again.

Dragoslav Stojanovic was seriously wounded, while Mijat Stojanovic and Veselin Stijovic were slightly injured on 18th April at about 09.00 in the village of Dubrava, Decani Municipality. About 50 armed terrorists entered by force into the house of Dragoslav Stojanovic,where he was sitting with his brother and neighbour. They were beaten with butts, legs and hands and then driven to a house in Glodjani village, where they were tortured again.



Stanisa Radosevic and Novak Stijovic were slightly hurt on 22nd April at about 11.00 in the area between Ljumbarde village and Decane. Armed terrorists intercepted Radosevic and Stijovic on the road and took them, together with another four villagers, to the village of Glodjane, where they were questioned about workers of the OUP Decani and then beat.

Djemije Tahiraj (1954) and her daughter Adrijana (1993), were seriously wounded in the terrorist attack with automatic weapons on their house on 25th April 1998 in the afternoon.

Slavka Sustic was seriously wounded on 1st May at about 08.15 in the area of Jabuka village, Zubin Potok Municipality. From ambush, terrorists fired a shot at the vehicle in which Slavka Sustic was sitting next to the driver.

Reza Neziri (1936) was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 4th May at about 10.00 in the village of Ponosevac, Djakovica Municipality. From automatic weapons, terrorists fired several shots at Raza's house and then at policemen who were on their regular job in the vicinity.

Smalj Salja (1958), from Vranovac village, was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made at midnight between 5th and 6th May, on Bucan-Vranovci road, Pec Municipality. Terrorists wounded him with shots from automatic firearms.

Bosko Vlahovic (1963), Milo Mijovic (1948) and Ernand Muminovic (1972), employees of "Elektrodistribucija", as well as Dragan Djurisic (1952), employee of JP "Srbija Sume", were seriously wounded on 7th May at about 18.30 on the local road Kozar-Decane in the terrorist attack made with automatic fire arms on the vehicle of "Elektrodistribucija" from Pec.

Dalibor Jaksic (1976), member of the Yugoslav Army and Sava Rakocevic (1941), from Vitomirica, were seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 9th May at about 15.00 at Lapusnik village, Glogovac Municipality. Terrorists opened fire from automatic firearms at the car in which Jaksic and Rakocevic were.

Dragisa and Ilinka Deverdzic and Drago Djuric were seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 11th May at about 08.00 on the dirt road Radisevo-Rudnik, Srbica Municipality. Terrorists opened fire from automatic weapons at their car.

Deljanin Sopaj (1968) was slightly wounded on 13th May at about 18.30 at the entrance to Orahovac, when terrorists fired shots at the car in which Deljanin was with his brother Naser.

Darko Stefanovic from Pristina, who was in the security service of the surface mine "Dobro Selo" - EPS Combine in Obilic, was slightly wounded on 13th May at about 21.00 in the terrorist attack made with automatic firearms.

Miloje Djuricic (1969), from Grabanica village, Klina Municipality, was striken by a shot from an automatic weapon while working in the field on 17th May at about 12.00. He was inflicted with heavy injuries dangerous to life.

Slavisa (1969) and Dragoljub (1966) Miljanovic, brothers from Veliko Krusevo, were seriously wounded on 20th May at about 23.30 in the village of Budisavci, Klina Municipality, in the terrorist attack made with automatic fire arms on houses of Serbian families Arsic, Slavkovic, Karavelic and Pejovic.

Nenad Djordjevic (1962), from Pec, was slightly injured in the terroristic attack made on 26th May at about 23.50 at Boge village, Pec Municipality. Shiptar terrorists, armed with automatic fire arms entered into the building of "Beobanka" where Djordjevic worked in the security service. They beat him, threatened with death and then fired several bursts from automatic rifles.

Faik Osmani was slightly wounded in the terrorist attack made on 28th May from 23.00 to 24.00 in the village of Leskovcic, Obilic Municipality. Terrorists, four of them, fired several bursts from automatic weapons at the house of the family of Redzep and Hetem Osmani and on that occasion wounded Hetem's son Faik.

Hajdin Hakija (1975) was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made with firearms on 30th May at about 21.45 in the village of Susica, Istok Municipality. Hakija and his brother Sefcet (1967) were attacked by three armed terrorists.

Ljusaj Sika (1919), from Srbica, was slightly wounded in the terrorist attack made on 5th June at 11.00 near the village of Suvelj. On the road Kosovska Mitrovica-Pec, terrorists fired shots from automatic weapons at the bus with 30 passengers.

Marko Meredita (1952) was seriously wounded with automatic firearm on 13th June at 22.30 in Kos village, Istok Municipality. Terrorists shot at Marko in front of his house.

Sava Zivkovic (1926) and his wife Novka (1936) were seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 15th June at about 17.00 in the village of Bukos, Vucitrn Municipality. Two armed terrorists rushed into their house and beat them with wooden stick and rifle butts.

Petar Djordjevic, guard in the garrage of "Kosmet put" from Kosovska Mitrovica, was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made on 28th June at about 22.30 in Dudin Krs area. Armed terrorists attacked the garage with automatic weapons and hand grenades and then assaulted on the guards Petar Djordjevic (1941) and Dragoljub Radojcic from Kopilovic village, Zubin Potok Municipality, and Zlatko Gavrilovic, refugee from Republika Srpska. Terrorists first tied hands and arms of the guards with wire and then inflicted several stab wounds with knife in the area of thorax and right shoulder.

Desanka Barovic (1957) was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack made with automatic and sniper weapons on 29th June at 19.000 on Serb population at Josanica village, Klina Municipality.

Ljubinka Sindic (1955) was seriously wounded on 3rd July at about 14.00 in the terrorist attack made from automatic weapons. During the attack Ljubinka was in her house in the village of Krnjin, Klina Municipality.

Svetozar Ristic (1934), from Movljane, Suva Reka Municipality, was assaulted and beaten by terrorists on 5th July at about 20.30 while he was keeping cattle in his field.

Nastradin Sulafic (1925) and Lela Vulic (1980) were severely wounded in the terrorist attack made on 6th July from 19.50 to 20.30, with mortar fire at refugee settlement "Djakovacka Vikendica" in Decani.

Djevet Stulcaku (1962) was severely wounded on 11th July at 16.20 in the terrorist attack with automatic firearms on the truck of Pristina registration in which Djevet was sitting next to the driver.

Miroslav Mihajlovic (1959), from Verlika Hoca, Orahovac Municipality, was severely wounded on 17th July at about 13.15 in the terrorist attack made by opening fire from a sniper at the passenger vehicle of "Mercedes" mark driven by Mihajlovic at the intersection of roads to Orahovac and Velika Hoca.

Sergej Mitin (1972), journalist of "Izvestija" newspaper from Moscow, was injured in the terrorist attack made on 17th July at about 15.00 in the vicinity of Trstenik village, Glogovac Municipality. Terrorists stopped the passenger vehicle driven by Mitin and tortured him physically, took the car from him as well as six camera films.

Miroslav Mihajlovic, from Velika Hoca village, and Mateja Radovanovic, from Orahovac, were severely wounded on 17th July in the terrorist attacks on Orahovac.

Radmila Kovacevic (1952), from Kosovska Mitrovica, was slightly wounded on 22nd July at about 12.50 in Vaganica settlement, Kosovska Mitrovica Municipality, in a terrorist attack. In the vicinity of the transformer station in Rasida Dedovica Street in Kosovska Mitrovica, Radmila stopped the taxy to let two passengers come out. Two terrorists approached to her, one with bomb and the other with pistol and tried to enter into the taxi. She suddenly started the car while the terrorist fired a shot from the pistol and delivered her some not severe wounds.

Iljmi Kadri (1935), Musa Kadri (1938) and Triton Kadri (1977) were severely wounded on 22nd July in the terrorist attack made from automatic arms on police members near "Park" hotel in Orahovac.

Bora Andrejevic (1962) was severely wounded on 25th July in the terrorist attack made from automatic weapons while he was working in his garden in the village of Movljane, Suva Reka Municipality.

Aleksandar Stojanovic (1985), from Pec, on 26th July at about 18.00 at Iglarevo village on Pec-Pristina road, was slightly wounded in the explosion while passing by the vehicle of "Mercedes" mark over a mine planted by terrorists.

Nivica Zmigic (1970), from Drsnik village, and Milic Djuricic (1968), from Grabanica village, were slightly wounded on 1st August at about 10.00 in the village of Grabanica while going by tractor to the nearby forest. They hit a mine planted by Albanian terrorists.

Velibor Djordjevic (1935), from Gojbulj village, Vucitrn Municipality, was assaulted by two Albanian terrorists on 6th August at about 17.30 near the village of Skocna and was inflicted slight wounds.

Admir Menekese (1979), Gypsy from Prizren, on 8th August was tortured physically by Albanian terrorists, who with a sharp object carved letters "USK" and "M" on his shoulders and inflicted him slight injuries.

Beram Isljami was injured on 11th August at about 10.00 in the village of Les, Prizren Municipality. Albanian terrorists drove him to Jaskovo village, where he was tortured physically and beaten. Vladimir Stasic (1979) was severely wounded on 11th August at about 14.30 in the terrorist attack made from automatic weapons in the village of Drenovac, Klina Municipality.

Branko Trpkovic (1975) was striken by shots from firearms on 20th August in the village of Zociste, Orahovac Municipality, where Albanian terrorists waited for him in ambush.

Mark Dedaj (1952), ambulance driver from Klina, doctor Rapi Pren (1958) and a person who accompanied the deseased Morina Imer (1933), from Klina, on 24th August at about 16.45 on Pec-Pristina road between the villages Grabanica and Zajmovo, were slightly wounded in the terrorist attack made from automatic firearms on the ambulance vehicle of the Health Center in Klina.

Stanimir Stankovic (1968), from Delovac, Suva Reka Municipality, was slightly wounded on 26th August at about 16.45 in the terrorist attack from sniper arms on the security workers of "Balkan belt" factory in Suva Reka.

Dragoljub Gogic, from Velika Hoca, was wounded in the terrorist attack on policemen made on 28th August at 13.00 from infantry weapons in the village of Ratimlje, Orahovac Municipality.
