New York, March 28 (Tanjug - abridged) - Head of the Yugoslav UN mission Vladislav Jovanovic denies on Sunday false accusations that Yugoslavia is carrying out ethnic cleansing of the ethnic Albanians in Kosmet.

Behind those false accusations lies the intention to stray the world attention from aggression and prepare NATO tropes against Yugoslavia, head of the Yugoslav UN mission Vladislav Jovanovic states for the CNN.

It is a truth fact that the well known terrorist Hashim Thaqi called the Albanians to leave Kosmet and go to Albania and Macedonia so that they could make possible for the Americans bomb the Serbian positions there without the lost on the Albanian side.

What the ethnic Albanians in Kosmet are trying to do is to provoke the humanitarian question, create a large number of the refugees, call and secure for the international community support the conquering of Kosmet by the NATO troops.

''Yugoslavia is completely for the peaceful solution'', says Jovanovic and recalls that the NATO countries were those which obstacled the Paris talks, insisting on the unacceptable conditions forced to Yugoslavia.

We are ready to secure a broad autonomy and a self-rule for our Albanian compatriots as well as for other people living on Kosmet, as it was in the past, Jovanovic says.
