Belgrade, March 31 (Reuters) - NATO bombings of the Belgrade area have killed eight civilians, and injured 22, independent local radio said on Wednesday, quoting the Yugoslav capital's military hospital director.

Lieutenant-General Aco Jovicic said those who died were brought to the hospital already dead in order to be identified, according to Radio B-92.

Twenty-two civilians, had been admitted to the hospital for treatment, Jovicic said.
