Civilians and civil facilities are NATO targets again

Ivanjica - Criminal NATO aircraft again targetted the Yugoslavia land satellite station at Prilike, near Ivanjica, at around 10.45 local time Monday.

According to eyewitness accounts, NATO aircraft overflew the area in two turns and fired four projectiles.

No reports are available yet about the damages inflicted on the civilian telecommunications system for telephone and TV links with other countries and continents.


Aleksinac, 19th April (Tanjug)- A projectile launched by aggressor NATO aircraft fell in the village of Glogovica, near Aleksinace, in the viciniy of Toma Stojcic's farm, shortly after 11 p.m. local time Monday.

The projectile did not explode but made a one-meter deep and a meter a half wide crater.

Security experts rushed to the scene to neutralize the explosive devices.

According to yet unconfirmed reports and eyewitness accounts, an enemy aircraft, downed by the Yugoslav air defense, crashed into Mt. Jastrebac.

One civilian killed and 11 heavily and slightly wounded.

The Nis DIN tobacco industry complex was heavily damaged in the savage attack and will not be able to resume production.



After visiting the heavily destroyed Bujmirska St. in the northwestern part of the city, district civil defense commander Jovan Zlatic told Tanjug he feared there were more casualties under the rubble.

Zlatic said ten houses had been completely destroyed and just as many significantly damaged

Uzice, 19th April 1999 (Tanjug) - The wider area of Mt. Zlatibor was targetted by criminal NATO aircraft for the seventh time since aggression on Yugoslavia was launched at 0.30 a.m. local time Tuesday.

Eight projectiles were launched at the summits Tornik and Cigota on Mt. Zlatibor at 11.30 p.m. local time Monday.

There were no casualties in the attack, according to the Cajetina emergency centre.

Nova Varos, 20th April 1999 (Tanjug) - Two strong explosions were heard southwest of Nova Varos at around 1.25 a.m. local time Tuesday.

The explosions came from the direction of Donja Bistrica, about 16 kilometers from Nova Varos, where a bridge on the Belgrade-Bar railway, between Prijepolje and Priboj, was destroyed in a NATO attack four days ago.


Pristina, 20th April 1999 (Tanjug) - Tanjug reports that a series of strong explosions were heard in the capital of Kosovo and Metohija Pristina between 1.50-2.20 a.m. local time Tuesday.

Several enemy projectiles fell west of the city, in the area of the Belacevac strip mine.

Several strong blasts were also heard northwest of Pristina, in the area of the village Lukare, populated strictly by ethnic Albanians.

As Tanjug reports, NATo aircraft still fly over wider area of Pristina.

Kragujevac, 20th April 1999 (Tanjug) - The Army of Yugoslavia air defense effectively acted at around 2.30 a.m. local time Tuesday and prevented an attack by enemy NATO aircraft.

Criminal NATO aircraft overflew the city in several waves, but were prevented by the heavy air defense from carrying out their murderous plans.

Strong explosions heard in the city were due to the strong air defense action.

Valjevo, 20th April 1999 (Tanjug) - The Krusik holding corporation, the biggest economic enterprise in the Valjevo area, was again attacked by criminal NATO aircraft at 3.17 a.m. local time Tuesday.

The NATO criminals launched between five to seven air-to-surface missiles at the factory compound, Valjevo Mayor Milorad Ilic told Tanjug.

Firefighters, medical teams and civil defense crews are at the scene.

The strong blasts, heard throughout the Valjevo area, caused a landslide on the Valjevo-Belgrade road, near the entrance to the Krusik compound.

No reports are yet available about the extent of the damages and possible casualties.

Gornji Milanovac, 20th April 1999 (Tanjug) - Early this morning at about 02:30 ihabitants of Gornji Milanovac were disturbed by strong noise of NATO aviation and heavy actions of air defense of the Yugoslav Army.

The Yugoslav air defense, as Tanjug reporter was informed in the Information Centre in Gornji Milanovac, possibly destroyed one projectile.

The town was not a target of NATO aviation but two strong explosions were heard in its vicinity, one on Rudnik mountine. NATO aviation still flies over the area of Gornji Milanovac, but without acting.
