Sadako Ogata does not see kiling of refugees

Belgrade, 22nd April 1999 - During the latest NATO Alliance attack on Djakovica in the night between 20th and 21st April, the collective center for sheltering Serbs refugees from Croatia was hit. Ten refugees lost their lives, while few tens of them were heavily or slightly wounded, said Serbian Commissioner for Refugees Bratislava Morina.

That what Croatian forces failed to do in August 1995 shooting at the column of refugees moving toward Serbia, completed neo-Nazi forces of the North Atlantic Alliance. Serbs who tried to find warmness of their for ever lost homes in that small town in the southern province of Serbia, even in bad dreams did not see that many of them were to die that night.

Will finally, on the occasion of this disaster, Mrs. Sadako Ogata, United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees say any word and require protection of people for whose lives she is responsible as well, wonders Bratislava Morina.
