All nations against NATO bombs

Pristina, April 22 (Tanjug - abridged) - All the nationalities living on Kosmet - Serbs, Montenegrins, Albanians, Turks, Muslims, Gypsies and Egyptians held a great anti-war meeting in Pristina wherefrom they sent a message to the leadership of the NATO member-states, gathered in Washington on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Alliance, to stop the war.

There are differences between us, but not the conflicts. The only conflict was initiated by the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army which had your support and your bombs. We want to solve the problems on Kosovo in peace, between us living on Kosovo, your bombs and killings are the only obstacle, points out the message.

Appealing on the NATO member-states to make a peace decision on their 50th anniversary, the protestors say they want to reconstruct their ruined homes, schools, hospitals, factories, bridges and railways.

Instead of spending your fortune on killing us, use it to help us in reconstruction of all you have destroyed, the message from Pristina says.
