Killing of refugees in Djakovica
Refugees faced special misfortune in this attack on our country. Those unfortunate people who had been left without their homes and their country, having fled Croatia and Bosnia, to find shelters in Yugoslavia, started fleeing their homes and often found death in the air strikes of the NATO aggressor.

In the attack on May 21 on the refugee camp "Majino naselje", several km south from Djakovica, 10 refugees were killed and 20 injured. Among the first identified were seven-year-old Ivan Ivancevic, brothers Davor (1970) and Radivije (1972) Volarevic. In that residential area, demolished to the ground with 8 missiles, 200 people fled the terror in Croatia have been living since 1995. All the international organizations, as well as the OSCE mission's monitors on Kosovo and Metohia have registered this objects to be the refugee camp.

Victims from Djakovica
Genocide-like character of the NATO's aggression was also displayed by the killing of the refugees in order to prevent them back to their homes, where from they fled exactly due to the bombing. On the road between Prizren and Suva Reka, in the village of Korisa, the convoy of the Albanian refugees returning to their homes was shelled. Approximately 100 civilians were killed during that raid, women and children mostly. On the road between Djakovica and Prizren, in broad daylight, a convoy of the civilian vehicles with nearly 400 Albanian refugees from the two villages from Djakovica district and one from the Prizren district was blasted . At least 75 people were killed and more than 20 heavily injured.
