Bridge over Ibar river

According to the incomplete facts, the aggressor demolished or damaged around 100 road and railway bridges in Yugoslavia. Such dreadful destruction of the bridges, which are the symbol of the human achievement, building and connecting of the people and nations, shows the real character of the aggression on Yugoslavia. By demolishing of the bridges in Yugoslavia, NATO breaks it's connections with the humanity, the morale, the law and the civilization.

Novi Sad without bridges

The five bridges were demolished on the Danube river that connected Vojvodina with the other parts of Serbia. Some of them were of the special architectural value (for example: the old Varadin bridge and the new Zezelj's bridge in Novi Sad). The newest bridge near Ostruznica on Sava river was demolished as well. The West and South Morava rivers, Ibar and Rasina rivers almost have no bridges at all. There are no functional bridges in Kosovo and Metohija. The railway bridge near Vatin at the Rumanian border was knocked down. The demolition of the so called Sarajevo's bridge in Grdelica gorge on the international railroad Belgrade - Thessalonika will be remembered in the history for the horrible massacre of the civilians in the train on that bridge.
