People elect in September August 22, 2000
Presidential elections, elections for both chambers of the federal parliament and local elections in the Republic of Serbia are called, and will be held on Sept 24 2000 Belgrade, July 27 - Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic has called elections for both chambers of the federal parliament. President Milosevic has signed decisions today for elections for the Chamber of Citizens and the Chamber of Republics of the federal parliament. Elections for federal deputies in the Chamber of Citizens and Chamber of Republics will be held on Sept 24, 2000. On the ground of reached decisions, deadlines for work on these elections for election of federal deputies will start with the date of July 27 this year. Preesident of the National Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, Dragan Tomic adopted a decision today, on July 27, in keeping with the Law on local self-administration and called elections for deputies in municipal assemblies, city assemblies and city of Belgrade. Elections will be held on September 24, and deadlines for all work in connection with the elections will start from July 27 this year.T The Yugoslav parliament's Chamber of Citizens President Milomir Minic called elections for the president of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Elections for Yugoslav President will be held on Sept 24, 2000. Deadlines for all work on these elections begin from today July 27 2000.
