The tactics of victimization

Albanian separatists in Kosovo and Metohija play the role of victim in all situations, even in their obviously terrorist activities. The tactic of "victimization" has been perfected and can be easily packaged in the form of violation of human rights, particularly the rights of ethnic minorities. The informational and propaganda activities of Albanian separatists have been manipulatively conceived to convince the international public that the situation involves repression by the Serbian government against a threatened ethnic minority.

Connection with terrorist acts

The relation of the leaders of the Albanian political wing toward Albanian terrorists is clearly defined. They deny connection with terrorist organizations in Kosovo and Metohija while, to the world, they portray terrorist actions as an answer what they call "state terror." Because of the world's attitude toward terrorism, Albanian political leaders avoid supporting such actions publicly, but the connection is evident in such examples as speaking at the funerals of killed terrorists. By not directly condemning the perpetrators of terrorist acts, the leaders of the Albanian separatist movement in Kosovo and Metohija create a favorable climate for the further strengthening and expansion of terrorism in this region.
