[allAfrica.com] [The_Leon_H._Sullivan_Summit_Dinner] Belgian Government to Help Demining Process Angola Press Agency (Luanda) NEWS April 15, 2004 Posted to the web April 15, 2004 Luanda The Belgian Defense Minister, Andre Flahaut, on Wednesday here stated that his country will help Angola in the domain of demining, through sending teams specialised in this matters, ANGOP has learnt. Speaking after the official talks between delegations of the Ministries of Defense of both countries, he said there are so many possibilities to execute this process. According to Andre Flahaut, there exist projects in the area of training that can be carried out in his country or through sending some Belgian trainers to Angola. He said that the current military attache to the embassy of Belgium to Angola, Lieutenant-Colonel Douglas Tefnin, accredited last week, will already work in this project of demining.
