Sources in the SPLA said LRA commanders Dominic Ongwen and Lt. Col. Okello Okuti, with fighters they led from Pader and Kitgum districts, had reached Owiny Ki-Bul. The group from Gulu, led by Kwoyelo, is expected to reach the assembly point today. The source said three quarters of the LRA fighters who have been hiding in the forested Garamba National Park in Eastern DRC, led by Second-in-Command Vincent Otti, have also assembled at Ri-Kwangba. "They have reached both assembly points. They even picked food taken by the mediators," the source said. Another source said the rebels have camped on the banks of River Atepi, near Owiny Ki-Bul. The LRA team is expected to leave Juba today for Ri-Kwangba to consult with leader Joseph Kony and Otti on the talks. Before the talks took a break on Tuesday, the two parties had started discussions on item No. 2 on the agenda, the Comprehensive Solutions to the causes of the war. =============================================================================== Copyright © 2006 New Vision.
