President Isaias Arrives in Tripoli to Attend Meeting of Heads of State On
Darfur Issue

Tripoli
President Isaias Afwerki arrived in Tripoli last night to take part in the
meeting of Heads of State on the Darfur issue.
The President was accorded warm welcome on arrival at Tripoli International
Airport by the Libyan Minister of African Affairs, Dr. Ali Abdelselam Atreiki,
and the Secretary General of CEN-SAD, Dr. Al-Medeni Al-Azhari. He also received
salute from the guard of honor.
The leaders of Eritrea, Libya, Sudan, Egypt, Chad and the Central African
Republic are attending the meeting due to get underway today.
President Isaias left for Libya last night to attend the meeting at the
invitation of the Libyan leader, Col. Muammar Al-Khadafi.
