Bakara Bazaar Commercial Activities Froze

Bakara commercial activities absolutely comes to a halt today after government
soldiers positioned themselves on some of the streets that enter the bazaar and
fire shots in the air and cause people to scare.

Bakara commercial traders committee urged the government to take away this
soldiers who are positioned at the 1st and the 2nd streets that enter the
market.



Very few people came to Bakara market and when crossing they have to dash to
reach the other side of the tarmac or expect for a bullet.

Bakara is the main commercial center in southern Somalia and many people in the
southern and central Somalia depend on this center.
