Skirmishes in the Capital Mogadishu Overnight

Heavily armed groups attacked an Ethiopian base both sides exchanged different
types of weaponries, this confrontation was in action for more than an hour.

Almost 10 mortars landed at the Ethiopian base in the former spaghetti plant in
Mogadishu Somalia. Couple of minutes after the mortars landed inside the base
it was followed by face-to-face battle. There are no tangible damages from both
the warring parties. But in fact the battle was a dreadfully one, and it could
be heard some areas which were not close to where it took place.



Stray missiles landed at some parts of Hiliwa and Yaqshid districts in
Mogadishu and yet loses are manifest.

The inhabitants of the zone doubled their displacements, the youngsters fled
the area because when something happen in the morning it is definite the
Ethiopians will carry out operations in the neighborhood and for sure they are
the first to be arrested.

But the reports Shabelle got this morning from those areas say so far there
were no operations.
