"In the interest of what honor is I have no option than to resign my appointment. Grand Alliance of Niger Delta represents the traditional justice of our land, Niger Delta. Its mission is to address the ills and vices meted on the people of our region. Though my short period of stay as secretary/spokesman, I have tried my best to promote the meaning of justice." If we fight against corruption then corruption must not be in our midst, if we fight for the good and empowerment of the oppressed then we must also achieve the good and empowerment through rightful and appropriate means, if we fight and condemn criminality then criminality must not be in our midst" He said a top officer of their body was accused of crime recently; an act which he said negates the cherished principles of groups at the fore front of a better Niger Delta.
