Kony Names New Team

Kampala

LRA leader Joseph Kony has appointed new members to his peace team.

On Monday, Kony announced that he had reinstated David Matsanga as leader of
his delegation.



Other members are Jocy Laker, Justin Labeja, Peter Ongom, former Kitgum Woman
MP Santa Okot, Willy Achila, James Anwyar and Caleb Alaka, a lawyer.

Kony's long-time confidants Yusuf Adek, Dr Ojunyea, Onyuny and Oywak are also
on the team, which was announced by the LRA political commissar, Justin Okello,
on Radio France International.

According to Okello, Kony is still interested in the peace talks.
