Reports say that the blasts were two different explosions used for cars filled with explosive things targeted to Halane School, a large base for the African Union troops AMISOM especially the Ugandan troops in south of the capital. The real casualties of the blasts are unclear so far. Shortly after the blasts Harakat Al-shababa Mujahideen officials claimed the responsibility for the attacks saying that they hit the first blast to its targets in Halane School, where a centre for officials from US, NATO and the United Nations while the next blast was targeted to another centre where there had been meeting between AMOISOM and transitional government officials who were organizing attacks against the Islamist fighters after the Holy Ramadan month according to them. Officials of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen told Shabelle that they reached the aims of their attacks adding that they inflicted more casualties to the African Union troops AMISOM in Mogadishu. We had contacted to the spokesman of AMISOM troops major Brigye Bohuko to know more about the blasts. But refused to give us further details about how soma thing had happened saying that he was very busy at that moment. One witnesses around the international airport of Mogadishu told Shabelle radio that they came out of their houses as they heard the sound of the explosions saying that they could see the smoke of the blasts which could also be heard in all areas of the capital. The TFG soldiers halted the movement of the traffic at around where explosions occurred around the international airport of Aden Adde, a base of AMISOM troops in the capital and there no comment from the TFG and AMISOM officials so far.
