Summary:
Humanitarian organizations play an increasing important role in global affairs. This new book explores how the U.S. military can improve coordination with relief agencies, European allies, host nations, international organizations and other non-government organizations during these operations. The authors recommend steps the military might take to improve coordination in future crises, including increased communication, planning and information sharing.
